On behalf of the pupils, staff, parents and governors, I would like to welcome you and your family to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School. We are delighted that you are looking at our school website and trust you will find all the information you need about our school. We know that you have made a wise decision in choosing our school, and we assure you that your child will be happy at Holy Trinity and will feel loved, accepted, nurtured and safe.

Holy Trinity is a ‘one form entry’ Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Our school provides a nurturing, happy and caring environment within which our children can flourish and reach their potential in a Christian setting.

At Holy Trinity we provide a secure and supportive learning environment where the children develop independence and work hard to be the best version of themselves through ‘Faith, Family and Friendship’ and through a deep and rich curriculum. We believe a close working relationship between home and school is vital to support your child’s learning. We encourage you as parents to form a partnership with the school and to actively share in your child’s education.

When entering our school, you will see that we are a Christian school family, and you will be warmly welcomed. We believe that everyone is loved unconditionally by God. We provide a caring Christian environment, led and enhanced through our Christian vision. We pride ourselves on being a living witness to the Christian faith; serving others and living out our Christian values. We empower our children to be their authentic selves, enabling them to realise and achieve their full potential and supporting them as individuals.

Days at Holy Trinity are full of awe and wonder; every day is different!  We strive to provide new experiences for our children, and we believe that Holy Trinity is a harmonious place to learn and grow. Our curriculum is broad and balanced, engaging all abilities and interests. It is carefully planned to provide a bespoke education, catering to the needs of the children at the heart of our community. We ensure that all children participate in a wide variety of educational visits, trips and events; we also love to have visitors in school. We have a full and engaging PE curriculum with lots of opportunities to develop leadership and teamwork skills through competing and participating in many sporting events. Last year, we were very proud to achieve the Primary School Games Platinum Award. We provide a wide variety of extracurricular activities which inspire the children to get involved and learn new skills, from Archery to Mindfulness Colouring or somewhere just have a calm space to get help with homework.

We have a range of Pupil Ambassadors in school, Leadership Ambassadors who help run and improve the school, Worship Ambassadors who promote spirituality and lead worship, Mental Health Ambassadors who aid us with well-being and lunchtime leaders who assist the Welfare staff.

I feel immensely privileged to serve Holy Trinity Church of England School, leading our school family and assisting our community. The staff at Holy Trinity strive daily to build upon the solid foundations of our school family. We are all very proud of our school and encourage you to visit and see us in action. We pride ourselves on good behaviour and encourage you to contact the school if you have any queries or questions. We have an active Facebook page where you will see our children flourish as they ‘Grow and Learn in Christ together’; preparing themselves to be 'caring, responsible citizens in diverse society.'

Yours sincerely
Mrs Alison Whitaker
